So far over 6000 York residents have had their say on the options for the new Council headquarters.
Every household in the city received a questionnaire and information on the two shortlisted sites for the new HQ - West offices on Station Rise and Yorkshire House on Rougier Street.
The results of the consultation will feed back in to the developer's proposals before detailed proposals are submitted in July.
Liberal Democrat Leader of the Council, Councillor Andrew Waller said, "The two schemes are very positive solutions for a HQ. I am pleased that we have not had to compromise on quality, value for money, or sustainability."
"A great deal of work has gone into both of them to make sure that they achieve the expectations of council tax payers."
The consultation will remain open until the 4th of June and can be complete online at http://www.york.gov.uk/council/hq/consultation
Residents will have the chance to have a further say on the plans when the planning application is submitted..
The new HQ is expected to be open in autumn 2012 and will bring together Council services, currently spread out across the city, into a single location. Making services easier to access making savings for council tax payers.
