Liberal Democrat Councillor Andrew Hollyer is asking residents to come forward if they would like to be involved in efforts to restore the mosaic on the floor of the gazebo in Ethel Ward Playing Field in Haxby, or if they were involved in its creation.

The charge could see more green waste being burned, fly-tipped or put in the black bins. And it would lead to more trips by car to household waste sites, all of which is environmentally damaging.
